KONAMI offers Welsh language cover for the newly released UEFA EURO 2016™ title in honour of Wales cover star, Gareth Bale
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has produced a special Welsh language cover for its officially licensed UEFA EURO 2016
title which is now available for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3. The cover can be downloaded absolutely free and features the national team’s world-renowned winger, Gareth Bale.
Bale, who shone for the Wales national team during their European Qualifiers campaign, graces all packaging and promotional materials for KONAMI’s official game of the UEFA EURO 2016
Welsh fans can simply visit www.pesfan.com/eurocymraeg
to download the cover, which has been fully translated into the native tongue. It marks the first time KONAMI has produced a localized element for the nation, and honours the team making it through the tournament for the first time in 57 years. The Real Madrid winger is an integral part of the Spanish La Liga side, and his pace and skills will also be on show in France as he lines up as part of the Wales squad. Wales are faithfully recreated – complete with official kits – within KONAMI’s UEFA EURO 2016
Bale also features prominently in the many bonus items available to newcomers to the KONAMI football series. Those purchasing the boxed UEFA EURO 2016
game have a chance of using Bale in the game’s myClub mode via bonus content available exclusively to them. myClub is a phenomenally popular option within PES 2016
, that allows users to use accrued points or in-game micro-transactions to build a title-winning side and lead them to glory. Purchasing the boxed game rewards the user with exclusive myClub rewards, including access to a special Ambassador Agent, seven special Euro agents giving them seven players representing the 24 qualified teams, and 10,000GP each week for 10 weeks.
The boxed release contains both the full PES 2016
game and UEFA EURO 2016
content. UEFA EURO 2016
features full iconography and presentation elements from this year’s tournament, and also includes the Stade de France stadium, which hosts the final in July. All squads are in line with those of the qualifying nations with their various playing styles perfectly replicated via the game’s innovative Player ID and Team ID systems, which mimic the exact playing styles of both individual players and the team as a whole.
"Gareth Bale is one of the hottest properties in football, and we wanted to do something special to highlight Wales making the competition,” said Erik Bladinieres, European Brand Director of Football for Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. “Gareth will be vital to Wales’ progression in the competition and we know that the entire team will be loudly backed by everyone in Wales.
